What Are The Temperature Influences For The Layer Hens?

Daily nutrition ingredients and energy intake in any of the hens or adult brooder are relevant with diet composition and consumed feed rates. In order to survive, grow and compose egg masses; a layer hen, regularizes its’ feed intake according to the consumption of needed and metabolized energy amount. As the energy rate of diet increases, feed intake decreases and this loop continues with such like effects.

Environmental temperature has an important role for indicating the consumptive feed rate. Decreases in feed intakes are seen in hot weathers. Bulky hens consume meals in larger amounts as they grew in maturity and their physical capacity activities against feed consumption are higher than others. This circumstance is valid even in hot weathers. Besides, the multiple frame systems in hatcheries usually make weak animals get stressed in higher rates. As a result of these increases in the stress rate; ovogenesis become inadequate and the body weights of animals become lower.

The main purpose for the feeding of layer hens is to gain optimum performance from placing them into hatcheries. In this hatchery process, the most profitable hatchery hen is the one which shows the highest quality performance. During the post- spawning period, genetic potentials of hens change. Obtaining successful performance values, are dependent upon the imposed effects before and after incubation. The body weight and standardization rate are essential in this case. In order to avoid the problems which cause from loss of earnings in the business incubation period; eliminations can be made by providing suitable conditions such as weight and sexual maturity.
