Instructions for Use

Çamlı Toklu Besi Feed is used in the feeding of our fattening sheep along with good quality dry forage. If our fattening sheep have previously consumed lamb feed, transition to the fattening feed can be done gradually over at least one week. If we are doing compensatory feeding or feeding fattening sheep coming from pasture, the feed can be started at 250-300 grams daily and increased by 100-150 grams weekly.

Important Information

• Ensure there is sufficient feeding space in the barn. It is important that all fattening sheep can access feed simultaneously.
• Fattening sheep should have free access to clean and drinkable water.
• Provide at least 1 m² of dry bedded resting area per fattening sheep.
• It is beneficial to keep animals of similar age groups and close live weight together in the same pen.
• Depending on whether the fattening sheep go to pasture or not, it is important for rumen health that they consume at least 250-500 grams of good quality dry forage daily.
• High humidity and insufficient ventilation in barns increase respiratory problems. Especially in winter, avoid excessive and direct drafts. Also, ensure the barn is properly ventilated.
• Regular internal and external parasite control and vaccination under veterinary supervision is very important for fattening sheep.
